WhatsApp forms
Collect a complete priced order in a form and let customers send its summary to your WhatsApp number.
A WhatsApp form collects products, quantities, customer details, and the order amount before the customer continues the conversation in WhatsApp. This gives staff a structured order to work from and gives the customer a summary to send.
The customer journey
- Open your form link.
- Choose products and review the order amount.
- Enter contact and pickup or delivery details.
- Submit and continue to WhatsApp.
- Press Send in WhatsApp to send the prepared message.
The handoff requires a customer action. A form submission does not mean a WhatsApp message has been delivered.
Two ways to use WhatsApp
| Task | Where it happens |
|---|---|
| Invite customers to order | Share the form link in a WhatsApp message |
| Receive the completed order summary | Configure the form's submit action to route the summary to your business number |
You can share any suitable form link in a conversation. The completed-summary handoff needs its own setup.
Keep a usable order record
Use the Responses view and your configured Google data connection to find submitted orders outside chat. This supports preparation, packing, and follow-up when a conversation contains several messages.
Start at WhatsApp form or configure the submit action on an existing supported Neartail form. Then check the phone and desktop customer flow.
