Import an existing Google Form

Import your Google Form into Neartail and understand which form collects new orders.

Use this route when you already have a Google Form with products, prices, or customer questions and want to manage it through Neartail.

Before you start

Use a form you own or can access with the Google account you will use for Neartail. Keep the form's responder link available. Review any sign-in or organizational restrictions in the source form if customers outside your organization need to order.

Import the form

  1. Open Neartail's order form creator and select Import your Google Forms.
  2. Paste your Google Form link, or choose Browse to select it from Drive.
  3. Click Import and allow the copy to finish.
  4. Review the form in the Neartail editor.

The import screen describes this action as making a copy of the Google Form. Keep track of which link you share after importing.

Use the import route for a form you already maintain.

Review before accepting orders

Check product quantities, prices, option labels, required customer fields, and the final amount. A question that asks for quantity still needs the correct product pricing or calculation configuration.

Check the email field in Configure key fields so order confirmations and customer identity use the right answer. Open Preview to review the experience on a phone-sized screen.

Which form receives responses?

New submissions made through the Neartail link belong to the managed form. Do not expect a new Neartail order to appear in the original form you imported from.

If you also need a Google Sheet, configure the Google Forms and Sheets connection for the form that Neartail is actually using.

Using the Google Forms add-on instead

Existing users may open Neartail → Customize this form from the add-on menu inside Google Forms. That is a different entry path from importing a copy through the website. Follow the Google Forms order form quickstart for that route.

If import does not work

Confirm the account, form ownership, and link. Avoid copying a spreadsheet URL or a form-editing page unrelated to the intended form. The import troubleshooting guide walks through the common checks.
