Collaborate with your team
Give staff the right access to Neartail forms, orders, and reports.
Invite collaborators when staff need to view or manage orders in Neartail. Choose a role based on the work they perform.
Invite a collaborator
- Open the form's Share tab.
- Under More options, choose Add collaborators.
- Select Add collaborators in the collaborator view.
- Enter the person's email and choose a role.
- Review the recipient and use Share.
Use the email address the staff member will sign in with.
Choose a role
| Role | Access |
|---|---|
| Owner | Form, responses, reports, and collaborator management |
| Editor | Edit the form and work on responses and reports |
| Viewer | Read responses and reports |
An editor can change the ordering setup as well as work on submissions. A viewer is suitable when a staff member needs to read a preparation report without maintaining product prices.
Give staff one working process
Agree on the meaning of order statuses. For example, move an order to Preparing when the kitchen starts work and to Ready for pickup when it is packed. Keep the date range and status filters consistent in reports.
Use a packing list for the customer handoff. Give staff the current version after any order edits.
Access and customer links
The customer-facing order link is for placing an order. The dashboard and collaborator tools are for managing the business workflow. Giving someone a customer link does not replace inviting them with the correct collaborator role.
Review collaborator access when responsibilities change. Do not put private dashboard or editor links into public customer instructions.
Add notifications
If someone needs to know about each new order, configure team notifications as well. Access to a form and receipt of a notification are separate settings.
