Order form overview
Collect products, quantities, customer details, and a calculated total in one Neartail order.
Use an order form to collect what a customer wants and the details needed to fulfill it. Customers review their selections and amount before submitting.
Main Neartail and Google Forms ordering
The main Neartail quickstart begins with menu creation and continues through order preparation. The Order form subproduct at Google order forms focuses on ordering with Google Forms, including existing-form and add-on workflows.
Choose the entry point that matches what you already have. An imported form and a form customized through the add-on can share calculations, but the import route makes a managed copy.
Build the ordering flow
| Part | What to configure |
|---|---|
| Products | Names, selling unit, prices, variants, and extras |
| Summary | Selected products, quantities, and amount |
| Customer details | Name, email, pickup or delivery information |
| Payment | Supported online collection, instructions, or pay later |
| After submit | Confirmation message, email, and next steps |
| Operations | Statuses, preparation quantities, and packing output |
Start with one example
For Willow Kitchen, two $8 bowls and a $4 small soup produce a $20 product subtotal. Add the real delivery or pickup rules for your business and check any discount, tax, and final amount separately.
After submission, find the same selection in Responses. Use production and packing reports when several customers order the same meals.
Keep the form current
Menu changes, ordering deadlines, and sold-out items affect the live customer experience. Review availability and open or close ordering whenever you reuse a form.
