Import and Google account access
Resolve common form-link, ownership, permission, and account-selection problems when importing a Google Form.
Start by identifying the Google Form you want to import and the Google account that owns or can edit it. Neartail's import screen creates a managed copy, so the original form and the imported form are separate items.
The form cannot be opened or imported
Check that the link opens the intended Google Form rather than a response spreadsheet, a preview image, or an unrelated Drive file. Use the form link requested on the import screen, or use Browse to select it from Drive.
If Google reports that access is required, open the form in Google Forms with the account that owns or can edit it. A link being publicly answerable does not give every signed-in account permission to edit the source.
The wrong account is selected
Confirm the account shown in Neartail and the account selected in Google's account picker. When several Google accounts are signed in, it is easy to authorize a different account from the one that has the form.
Return to the intended account and repeat the import procedure. Avoid creating several copies while investigating an account problem; identify the imported form you will actually maintain before sharing it.
Changes do not appear where expected
Check which form you edited. Opening the original Google Form is not the same as opening the managed copy from the Neartail dashboard. Compare their titles and links, then use the correct form's Preview and Share controls.
Ask for help
If access is correct but import still fails, send support the source form link, the step that failed, the visible error, and whether you pasted a link or used Browse. Do not include a password or authorization token.
After import, review generated fields, product prices, currency, and the public form before collecting orders.
