Google Forms order form quickstart
Turn an existing Google Form into a priced order form through the appropriate Neartail entry path.
Use the Order form subproduct when your ordering process already starts in Google Forms and you want to show customers a calculated amount.
Choose the entry path
Website import: open Order form, choose Try it free, and use the Google Form import route. The current import screen makes a copy. Share the resulting Neartail customer link and configure response destinations for that managed form.
Existing add-on: when working in Google Forms with the Neartail add-on installed, open the add-on menu, choose Neartail → Customize this form, then Proceed. This opens the customization flow for the form you are using through the add-on.
Keep the paths distinct when following older tutorials. Do not assume an original source form and a newly imported copy share submissions.
Prepare your questions
For each product, collect a quantity or a choice with a clear price. Add customer name, email, and the pickup or delivery questions your business needs.
A price such as $12 each should use a consistent currency marker. Older Google Forms price-description calculations depend on matching that marker.
Add the amount
Use the total amount question's field settings, open Answer, and configure Calculate with the supported total function. TOTAL calculates product amounts; the currency argument helps identify prices in Google Forms descriptions and answer choices.
The totals guide explains the current product-based and Google Forms price-description approaches.
Preview and submit
Choose a known combination and compare the calculated amount with your own arithmetic. Check zero items, multiple quantities, and products with different options. Submit through the Neartail customer link and find the result in Responses.
Finish the workflow
Configure payment, confirmation emails, and sharing. If staff work from a spreadsheet, connect the correct form or report through Google Sheets.
