Your Neartail website
Create a near.tl website for your business, choose its primary form, and add other forms as quick links.
Quick Answer
How do I create a website with Neartail?
Open a form's Share tab and select the Website icon. Enter a website name, which becomes your near.tl address, choose your location, and create it. One form is your website's primary form, and you can add others with Add to Quick Links. Edit the site with Edit, from Share or from My website on your dashboard.
Your website gives customers one address for your business, at near.tl/your-name. It's useful if you don't have a site, or if you want one page that lists all your forms.
Create your website
Start from your main form
Open the form customers should reach first, then Share, then the Website icon.
Enter a website name
It becomes your address. It takes lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens, and needs at least eight characters. Pick your business name, not this week's menu.
Choose your location and create it
The page then shows your address, with Copy, Open, and Edit.
You can also start at neartail.com/site-builder and choose Try it free. If your account already has a site, you'll see Your website is ready, with Edit site and View site.
Connect your forms
Each account's website has one main form, and any number of quick links.
| Option | What it does | Use it for |
|---|---|---|
| Add to Quick Links | Adds a link to this form on your site | A catering enquiry, an event, a special |
| Switch Form | Makes this form your site's main form | Replacing your main menu |
The page tells you which form is currently your main one. Check your live site after switching, because it changes where customers land.
Use the same website for every form
You only have one website per account, and Share → Website shows the same address on every form. To add a second form, use Add to Quick Links on that form rather than creating another site.
Edit your website
Choose Edit in Share → Website, or My website → Edit on your dashboard. Preview on the dashboard shows the live site.
Use it to set your business name, introduction, and images, and check your links on a phone. Follow every button to make sure it leads where you expect.
Keep your menu in one place
Your products, prices, availability, and payment all live in the form. When you change a product, update the form and then check that your website still describes it correctly. Don't describe prices in the website's text if you can avoid it, because they're easy to forget when your menu changes.
What we tested
We confirmed the Website tab, the existing-site screen, and the dashboard's controls on an account that already has a site, without changing it. We didn't create a new site or edit pages for this guide, and we didn't test custom domains. To use your own domain, contact support.
