After customers submit
Choose what customers see after they order, and set the button text, language, and currency.
Quick Answer
How do I change the thank-you message in Neartail?
In the editor, scroll to Submit at the end of the form. Use its dropdown to choose Default message, Custom message, or Redirect to webpage. The gear above it opens Button and On submit tabs, where you can also set the message's alignment and size, the button's caption and language, and the form's currency.
The Submit block is the last thing in your form. Scroll to the end of the Edit tab to find it.
The dropdown in the block offers:
| Option | What customers see |
|---|---|
| Default message | Your response has been recorded |
| Custom message | Your own text |
| Redirect to webpage | Another page, such as your website |
| Submit to WhatsApp | A WhatsApp handoff. See Take orders on WhatsApp |
Submit to WhatsApp only appears on some forms. Our form made through the WhatsApp page had it, and an older one made another way didn't.
Write a useful message
The default message doesn't tell customers what happens next. Replace it with something that does:
Thanks for your order! Pick up on Friday between 4 and 6 PM at 12 Orchard Lane. Reply to your confirmation email if anything changes.
Include how and when they'll pay, if that isn't handled on the form.
Submit settings
Select the gear beside After page 1, directly above the Submit block.
Button tab
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Language | The language of the form's built-in text, for this form only |
| Caption | The button's text. Leave it empty for the default |
| Currency | The currency of your prices |
| Do you want to collect payment? | Opens payment setup |
Change the currency
Set the currency here before you enter prices or take orders.
Changing currency on a form with prices can break amounts
When we changed a test form from EUR to USD and back, its product cards showed $800 instead of $8, and an order that should have come to 22€ showed 2.200€. The price fields in the editor still read 8 and 12. If you must change the currency, re-enter your prices afterward, then place a test order and check the total on the customer form.
