Customer details

Collect the handoff details you need and tell Neartail which answers identify each customer.

Quick Answer

How do I make customer names appear on Neartail orders?

Add name, phone, and email questions to your form, then open Configure key fields, using the book icon beside After page 1 or the Form setup checklist. Map each to the right question. Neartail uses these fields to label order cards, reports, and confirmation emails.

Ask only for what you need to make and hand off the order. Every extra required question is a reason to abandon the form.

Check after every change

If order cards show the wrong name or no name, a key field is usually pointing at a question you renamed or replaced. Generated forms can also have several name and email questions, so check that the mapping uses the one customers actually fill in.
